The prevalence of tooth wear probably is extremely high. In fact, I think if you
look into any dentition virtually at any age, whether it be the deciduous
dentition or the permanent dentition, you'll find some form of wear, which
could range from a tiny amount to in fact a significant amount where enamel is
lost completely and dentin is exposed. So, I think one could probably say that
the prevalence is actually about 100 percent.
